Aurubis Bulgaria supported new kids playground in Dushantsi village

On 26 June, in the center of. Dusantsi, a renovated children's playground was opened. The project was implemented on the idea of Dusantsi mayor office and was funded by Aurubis Bulgaria as part of the partnership program between the company and the municipality of Pirdop.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Pirdop Municipality - Mr. Angel Gerov, the Mayor of Dushantsi village - Mrs. Zlatka Kaneva, the Executive Director of Aurubis Bulgaria - Mr. Tim Kurt, the Head of Sustainability, Institutional Relations and Communications - Mr. Ivaylo Georgiev, parents and children from Dushantsi.

The mayor of Pirdop expressed his hope that there will be many children who will enjoy the children's facilities. He also said that soon such sites will also be opened in Druzhba Park in Pirdop, also under the partnership program with Aurubis Bulgaria.

Mrs. Zlatka Kaneva thanked Mr. Tim Kurt and Mr. Angel Gerov for their support and pointed out that taking care of children's physical and mental development is essential. Therefore, in the conceptual project itself, the Town Hall has included an educational module.
