"Aurubis Bulgaria" organizes the annual stocking of the "Dusantsi" dam

On 14.03.2023, for a consecutive year, "Aurubis Bulgaria" organized the annual stocking of the "Dusantsi" dam. 3,300 spotted seatrout, 2,400 white carp, and 4,100 grass carp were released into the water facility.  The stocking material was delivered from the Dam Ogosta, Montana region.

Achieving a good ecological status of the water surface in the Dushantsi dam through annual stocking is in accordance with the analyses of the water body made by experts from the Department of General and Applied Hydrobiology of the Faculty of Biology at the University of St. Kliment Ohridski" and the Basin Directorate "East-Belomorsky Region".

The activities are coordinated with the hunting and fishing Association "Srednogorie" and the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Over the past years, Aurubis Bulgaria has purchased more than 15 and a half tons of fish material to maintain the ecological balance in the dam.
