More than 180 participants in the " Health and Safety Week " of Aurubis Bulgaria

The start was given on May 14th by Tim Kurth - Managing Director of "Aurubis Bulgaria", Uwe Herfet - Vice President of Safety and Health and Yuli Marinov - Operational Manager of HSE.

For the second year, Konstantin Kovatchev from Active Sitting - Practical Kinesiology presented an interesting demonstration of practical solutions to improve musculoskeletal health.
The program continued with the practical session conducted by "Vero Scaffolding KD", to improve knowledge and skills for scaffolding and rescue actions in case of an accident.

Vanya Akgün from St. Ivan Rilski University of Mining and Geology conducted a training session on "Psychological aspects in emergency situation. Cognitive changes of the personality in an emergency situation", and also reminded the basic rules of safe behavior in an emergency situation.

The Health and Safety Week ended with a safety gloves demonstration "Innovations in hand protection, types of safety gloves and how to choose the most suitable ones for our work", presented by a team from Ejendals and Admix.

For Aurubis Bulgaria, the safety and health of workers is a top priority.
Organizing various events to maintain and improve the safety and health culture is of a key importance for the company.

At the interesting meetings organized by the Occupational Health and Safety Department, thematic gifts were distributed. The initiatives were open to all Aurubis Bulgaria employees as well as employees of external contractors working on the company's territory.
