"Aurubis Bulgaria" supports the ecological wealth of the "Dusantsi" dam through annual stocking

"Aurubis Bulgaria" continues its support for maintaining the ecological balance of the "Dusantsi" dam. This year, the traditional stocking was on March 20, with 3 404 white carp and 5 805 grass carp released into the dam.

The initiative of Aurubis Bulgaria is aimed at preserving the richness of species in the dam and maintaining its ecosystem. The stocking with two tons of fish worth 17 thousand BGN is part of the company's long-term program to maintain the biological balance.

The project is in line with analyses of the water body made by experts from the Department of General and Applied Hydrobiology of the Faculty of Biology at the University of St. Kliment Ohridski" and the Basin Directorate " East-Belomorski region". The activities are coordinated with the hunting-fishing association "Srednogorie" and IARA.
